February 1, 2020 ADEM deadline for Post-Construction Stormwater Management in Qualifying New and Redevelopment requirements. 

October 6-7, 2021 Flooding damage across Hoover.  

October 18, 2023  ADEM Public Hearing on Stormwater Management in Hoover and the new NPDES Permit (no permit has been issued in nearly one year) and the remaining information from the hearing has not been posted.

June 13, 2024 Hoover sued over failures of Post-Construction Stormwater Management in Qualifying New and Redevelopment.

July 17, 2024 Hoover requests the suit be dismissed.  

October 1, Judge determines there is standing and the lawsuit will go forward. The city has one month to respond. 

October 2024 Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton

February 2025 Judge grants motion to compel Hoover to produce documents in case about failures of Post-Construction Stormwater Management in Qualifying New and Redevelopment.
