The Hoover Monitor is a nonprofit 501C3.
The Hoover Monitor, AL is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for
educational and charitable purposes, within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
The purpose of The Hoover Monitor is to inform, advocate for and with residents and
homeowners with a goal of maintaining or improving our health, safety and confident
investments in our homes and community.
We seek to gather information that will inform our stakeholders; residents and
homeowners. We provide information through direct mail, our website, other social
media, public presentations, and word-of-mouth to neighbors. Further, we strive to be a
forum for stakeholders encouraging them to share information, present issues, seek
assistance, build consensus, and inform decision-making, entities. We may provide
grants to individuals or entities to improve the quality of life in Hoover.
To maximize our impact, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations
which fall under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are operated
exclusively for educational and charitable purposes.
We are a volunteer organization.
The Hoover Monitor is now enrolling (at no cost) members who support our mission. Currently our two major initiatives are stormwater management and transparency in Hoover. Individuals may unenroll at any time. The Hoover Monitor accepts donations. contact us at: info@hoovermonitor.com
